A collaborative initiative between Bidni Olive Grove and the Mediterranean Culinary Academy celebrating the endemic Maltese olive bidni. Bidni Extra Virgin Oil has a distingusihable character of pronounced fruity notes with a peppery finish drawn from the small and highly distinctive olives grown in the Wardija grove. Tended to by Joe and Immanuele Grima, cultivators to around 600 bidni trees, their devotion to the artistry and daring initiative to start the grove’s production is a testament to the purity of Maltese produce.

With the Mediterraenan Culinary Academy’s Kurt Mifsud at the forefront of managing the branding and distribution of the few yearly bottles of liquid gold, Bidni achieved its Platinum Award in 2023, becoming Malta’s first olive oil to receive such a distinction.
